Crash when a player starts the game (Integer Divide by Zero)

I have been contacted that a player can’t play Graveyard Shift, it crashes. I asked him to send the log files.

output_log

error.log

He uses Windows 8.1. The GraveyardShift.exe caused an Integer Divide by Zero (0xc0000094) looked like important to me. There is no divide by zero in the beginning scene of the game, though. Game works fine for all other thousands of players.

What might be the problem? We use Marmoset Skyshop, by the way.

The whole output_log.txt file is

I dont see any divide by zero exceptions i’d say ask the guy to update his drivers as the old 14.x drivers were fualty

Hmm, is 14.x written in the logs?

no but they dont normally appear in the logs , that divide by zero exception is not from a script thats from the .exe itself so nothing can fix it

I see.

By the way, he says that his video drivers are updated.

either its a random error or it crashes every time. if its just him and crashes every time then it must be his computer .

Sorry for bumping old thread. We have had a few reports with same exception and very similar stacktrace. Also using same Unity version 5.4.2f1. The crash happens in Unity-player’s side, so updating might help (also if you have already updated, did it fix the problem?)

Yes, he says that the game now works without a problem after we updated the Unity version.

Hi guys

We are experiencing this also with our game for many users. We are on Unity 5.4.1. What version of Unity did you upgrade to to make this issue go away? We’d like to avoid upgrading all the way to 5.5.

5.5.0p3

Thanks for the quick reply!

I also have a similar problem, when I start Genshin Impact it quickly closes and says “error exception unknown software exception(0xc0000094) in the app at the position 0x990801c7” I use Windows 8.1 as well.
