Create accessible rooms/areas bellow terrain???

Hi, is there a way to create an area under a a terrain that has the default gradient?

I am creating a deserted city landscape that the player can explore. I would like to add in a metro system that goes both above and below ground. Is there a way to make the tunnels that would go under the terrain accessible to the player?

Not using the inbuilt terrain, no. You’d have to model the ground as a mesh to get this sort of functionality.
