.CreatePrimitive(...) not showing on URP mobile

I’ve recently started using URP and I’m having some trouble…

Probably the most fundamental is that GameObject.CreatePrimitive(…) objects are not showing up in the Android mobile app, though they are in the Game view. These objects by default use the URP/Lit shader (Opaque).

The same Scene is rendering other dynamically created objects that use the URP/Lit shader, though these objects are using materials in the resources folder.

I would have thought that GameObject.CreatePrimitive(…) would work with the default URP/Lit material…so I have default Universal Render Pipeline Asset and Graphics properties but I’m still getting nothing.

Any ideas??

Duplicating an existing material looks to be the path of least resistance, making different reference materials for transparent | opaque etc.

existingMat = (Material)Resources.Load("Materials/RUP_Lit_MTA", typeof(Material));

customMat = new Material(existingMat);

differentColor = Color.blue;
customMat.color = new Color(differentColor.r, differentColor.g, differentColor.b, 0.5f);

cylinder = GameObject.CreatePrimitive(PrimitiveType.Cylinder);
cylinder.GetComponent<MeshRenderer>().material = customMat;

Thanks mate, this saved my day.
