Creating games in Unity with minimal coding

Hi!

I’ve had Unity for quite some time now. However, whenever I tried learning C# I would lose interest, as I was simply learning the language rather than actually coding. I know how coding works and how it is set up, but I simply cannot force myself to spend more than a few hours at a time to learn the language. I love coding, don’t get me wrong, but I simply cannot maintain interest and inspiration when I am simply learning the language.

There are 2 games I would love to create:

  1. An endless runner using grapple hooks.

  2. A short multiple choice game, which can be played over and over again. A mix between Professor Layton and Mass Effect.

I am quite skilled with creating voxel graphics. I was considered one of the best Minecraft (Yes, I know, it is a kids game, but the creative part of it is very extensive) builders and I would frequently do commissions for buildings. As such, graphics aren’t a problem at all. I would love spending time doing it, however, without any code I wouldn’t get anywhere.

So my question is, how skilled do I need to become at coding to create these games? What would your tips be?

Note: Sorry for grammar mistakes and whatnot. I was tired when writing this and probably missed quite a few erros.

Plenty of coders out there who feel the same way about art. Why not try and team up?
