Creating Geometric Primitives Editor Script

I found the Editor Wizards scripts section on the wiki last night. Cool beans I can add to the menus. So it seemed to me that I would like to have more parametric objects to choose directly from the editor menu. A Torus, a Tube, a Tetrahedron and other “hedrons”, a Pyramid and Cone as well as a standard Biped Rig.

First question. All the editor scripts I already downloaded were .cs. I presume they can be javascript as well?

Second question. I noted folks stated that the Unity Cube for instance, does not have a UV set. I can grab the data from the web for parameterisation of primitives but how do I set up the UV’s for it as well?

Third question. If I create a “parametric” Biped Rig for the menu, will that bind to my pre-rigged meshes if I bind the meshskin to an exact duplicate of the menu chosen Biped Rig…

Fourth question. Is there any scripts out there already that do this? Or does someone have pointers on how to set up a parameterized object as a Wizard to choose subdivision count and dimensions.

TIA

hello Bluster T Hogwash,

I don’t know if our tool is what you search exactly but you can always check to our tool called parametric primitive.
You will find it here : Parametric Primitives | Modeling | Unity Asset Store

Hope this helps!
