Creating GL TRIANGLE STRIP and material


I want to generate a triangle strip with GL.TRIANGLE_STRIP.
I have tried to use the example script and nothing happens.
I have attached the script on the main camera and used a simple diffuse material.

Then I have changed the material and it’s working with a skybox material. I don’t understand why a skybox material and not a diffuse material.

Is there a way to use it with another material than a skybox ?
What material should I use if I want a white triangle strip ?
