Hey guys,
I have been looking around but I cant really find any tutorials on how to make 2d management games ones which you dont control a “character” directly such has hotel tycoon or game dev tycoon. I know the 2d tools for unity just came out so I may need to give it some time but there was also 2d toolkit and things like that.
Anyone have any advice?

I guess you aren’t really good with any programming language am I right? You should learn c# , with almost just the base, you will already be able to create your project.

Thanks for the reply, I actually have been watching your tutorials and they are very helpful!
What I’m a little fuzzy on is whether I need to program on a mac or I just have to own one. I was going to buy a laptop so I could watch your videos and practice on the bus and stuff but I don’t know if I should get an apple or a cheaper laptop. I have a mac desktop at my house.

I use a Mac.
It doesn’t matter which computer type you go with. Everyone has their own preference. There is no feature benefit of going with pc or mac.
