creating NEW projects via hub 3.6.1

Edit: Noticed there was a thread dedicated to the unity hub, so have posted there. This can be deleted if need be. (Cant seem to find how to do it myself)
The other day my hub just seemed to stop working. When I tried to open the hub it would get stuck on loading. So I uninstalled the hub and reinstalled. However, when I now try to start a new project, I get a unity package manager error (invalid dependencies, for the URP by looks of it) I can click retry which then gives me another error saying, " your project was last saved in a different version of unity) but it was a brand new project. I can click continue and the project then opens, but I would prefer to get it fixed.

Does anyone possibly know what the issue may be?

I have seen this behaviour when a project was actually not a Unity project respectively one that had important files missing in it, so that Unity recognized it as a Unity project folder but then some files were missing, most likely in ProjectSettings or even the entire folder.

Most likely scenario I’d say is that either one of your drives is running very low on disk space (anything below 20 GB is critical) or the permissions of that path aren’t properly set up (the current user needs to have full permission).

Check the editor.log for possibly more insight or post it here.
Also, when you create new projects, always use the latest patch release. 2021.3 is at patch level 32 now.
