Creating realistic webcam output with Unity

I'm trying to achieve a render that results in the SAME quality as the following (web cam) output:

Basically it looks like crap, the edges are not sharp, the text is barely readable, and there is significant noise in the image.

If I try to recreate that in Unity everything looks "too crisp", e.g.:

So what can I do to make Unity create a similar visual output as the real webcam? (other than scaling the resolution down and up)

Not really my forte, but for this effect I'd suggest looking at the Volume > Post Processing effects as a starting point...particularly Film Grain, Chromatic Aberration, and Tonemapping and/or Split Toning.

Here's a quick example I did with one of my own projects to try and mimic what you're after (I'm no artist...I'm sure you can improve on the general idea!).

Same frame with PostProcessing effects.

Here are the settings I used to get this look. (Um...note that I happened to have the effect disabled...the first checkbox...when I took the screenshot.)

Hope that helps!

Thanks, this helped!
