HI i want generate the wind effect for 3d meshes(trees) exported from Maya or Blender. I will be placing these trees on a plane. No terrain used in application. How can it be implemented inside unity?
You could use a custom shader that uses vertex displacement to move tree branches and leaves in a wavy-type of way to imitate wind.
You could manually animate the tree.
You could add your own physics to each bush at the end of a branch, allowing a wind zone to push them back and forwards.
