Does official start working on enable networking open world and battle test it from lower spec mobile platform to console and until high end desktop platform? So it’s not just desktop platform but also all the way down to lower spec mobile platform. I think the entire dots will need much more improvement to enable this that today I already hit a lot of blockers when working on smaller scale networking game with dots netcode and other dots packages at mobile platform. One of the netcode performance issue is at case IN-37258.
These are two different aspect: one thing is open world, one things are performance. Even though they are highly correlated, the second does not imply the first.
There are plans to expand the current offering to include more open-world support, but this is going to be a more long-term plan. For mobile, I completely agree we need to improve many aspects. And mobile are in our radar.
