If I have a bunch of sprites with a packing tag and I set the texture compression of the sprites to crunch, the resulting sprite atlas will have weird alpha and color problems.

Was told it would be fixed in 5.1.2.
Looks like it is back. At least in non-alpha textures, WebGL, and unity 5.3.2p4.
I can not sprite pack these textures without getting the non-alpha texture screwed up. I’ve opened another case: 774638.
oh dear Unity what has happened to you? 5.3+ is like swimming in an endless ocean of bugs.
Also, I have to admit it is not even clear if it is working at all. Because the asset bundles using the packed sprite keep almost if not the same size when switched to crunched (the maybe working alpha textures).
