๐Ÿ•น๏ธ Cube Guardian: Learn Unity by Making a Complete Game โ€“ Devlog & Tutorial! ๐ŸŽฎ

:waving_hand: Hey Unity devs!

Iโ€™m excited to share my project with you all! I recently launched a **YouTube channel : and website : ** where I teach Unity development by recreating a full game from scratch. The idea is to help beginners and aspiring developers learn by following a real project step by step.

** :video_game: What is the game?**

Iโ€™m currently developing Cube Guardian, a Tower Defense game where you strategically place your defenses across three different levels on a fully procedural map.

Each game is unique, as enemy spawns are randomized, forcing you to adapt your strategy every time you start a new game. Defeating enemies grants experience points (XP), and each time you level up, you can choose from three random upgrade cards to enhance your defenses or abilities.

The goal is to create a fun and polished project that is both an engaging game and a valuable learning experience for those interested in Unity development.

:hammer_and_wrench: Key Features so far:

:white_check_mark: Procedural Map โ€“ Each playthrough offers a different layout for endless replayability.
:white_check_mark: Three Types of Buildings โ€“ Strategically place different structures to maximize your defense.
:white_check_mark: Increasing Difficulty โ€“ Enemies become stronger with each wave, pushing your strategy to the limit.
:white_check_mark: Endless Survival โ€“ Fight off attackers as long as you canโ€”survive until youโ€™re overwhelmed!

:small_blue_diamond: Why am I posting here?

Iโ€™d love to hear your thoughts!

  • What do you think of the project so far?
  • Do you have any feedback or feature ideas?
  • Would you be interested in specific Unity tutorials?

Iโ€™d really appreciate any feedback or questions, and I hope this can help other developers in their journey! :rocket:

Thanks for reading! Looking forward to your thoughts!
