Cubemap cookies for point lights

Can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong trying to make a cubemap cookie for a point light.
Created cubemap. Stuck black and white .psd’s with alpha channels on it.

Import settings for these images: clamp, Alpha 8 bit, build alpha from greyscale, boarder mipmaps and box.

Selected cubemap in pointlight cookie settings. Light gets brighter in editor wind but no pattern. What am I doing wrong?

My ordinary light cookies work OK.

I’m on Indie.

I’ll post pictures, the file is very big.

I’m trying to generate light projected through a lampshade made of fish shapes onto the walls and ceiling of a room. I made images and put them into a cube map but it does not work when I add it to the light.

A second try using one of the images and the generate cubemap function in Unitys import settings does work well but the image is not what I want. The fish should all be facing the same way as the lampshade revolves.

Below I’m posting my gobo import settings, and my cubemap settings.

The third image is my second cubemap attempt generated by Unitys import settings. Weirdly nothing shows up in it’s cubemap but that one does work when applied to the light and I can’t figure out what the difference is.

The generated cubemap works but the pattern isn’t right so I need to figure out what I’m doing wrong with mine.
