Cubemap Reflection reflecting on parts of a model


This question may have been asked elsewhere which I’m sure but haven’t been able to find any lead that can help me . Basically I’m wondering if its possible to have cubemap reflections only reflect on parts of a model. So essentially reflections will only appear on eg// white parts of a UV texture map


yeah you can do that in the reflective shaders that come with unity, you just gotta put in an alpha mask in the alpha channel of your diffuse (so add an alpha channel with black/white in photoshop and save it as a targa file)
