I’d like to show you a game im working on.
It’s called Cuebox: The Real 3D Pool.
It’s a billiards game in three dimensions without gravity. The balls are floating inside a box instead of a flat table. I’d be glad for some feedback.
What do you think about this concept?
Cuebox will be released for iOS , Android and probably Windows Phone. I’m having serious problems on the last one so it may take a while until I’ll make it playable there. After mobile release i’ll make a desktop version.
Glad to hear that;) I’m going to make a desktop version later It will be after mobile releases , because i’m planning to add some more features, like shadows and other stuff that kills performance on mobile;)
My friend has made this teaser , probably with c4d, i will let you know when i ask him.
Screenshots are from the mobile version which has to work on weaker devices - it would be impossible for me to make it look like in teaser with a heavy physics i’ve implemented. After mobile we’ll remake it for Mac/Windows/Linux and it’s gonna be different league in terms of graphics.
Right now i’m trying to make the current version work on Windows Phone and it’s going really bad … ngui textures break. Has anyone had similar problems ?
I have some themes preparred but i won’t be able to put all of them in the game (at leas not in the first version). Can you give me some feedback on them ?
I’ve set the release date on November 29th. iOS and Android versions will be live then. Windows phone will be launched in december if everything goes well. I’ve also created a Facebook page, there are sone more screenshots etc: https://facebook.com/cuebox3d
I’ve made a major breakthrough with windows phone , there’s a lot of bugs but it’s running there so i might be able to release it on all three platforms by the end of the month.
Yes i know, i’ve even tried them in this game but i either looked very unnatural ( with 1-2 flares or so) or killed performance. Thanks for the suggestion though
