Hey,

Off the bat I know this is in the wrong place, but the forums don’t work for me, some issue about my email address. I can only get on answers. (I’m awaiting an email form unity support about that)

I have a cupboard, simple stuff featured in a lot of games where you click on it, it opens, and there’s an item inside.

I’m not too sure about how to implement the item inside. My initial thought was literally have the item (as a rigid body) sitting on-top of the draw, and be able to see it when the animation plays. This however didn’t work. The item didn’t move along with it.

My question (what makes this the wrong section) is, what method would you recommend to use?

Here’s a video of what it looks like:

Thanks

I would make the case of the cupboard and the actual part that moves two separate objects and move it out via script.
This way you can have items inside as rigidbodys and they will move with the cupboard.
