Cursor looks wrong

I’ve installed the Unity Editor on Linux (Solus) and i can start the editor, but the cursor looks wrong. It’s not using the system cursor. Instead it’s black and looks vertically mirrored. This makes the mouse really irritating to use. I can’t even show a screenshot, because interestingly in the screenshot the system cursor is shown. Is the Unity Editor providing its own cursor or what could be the problem here?

I’m using Unity 5.5.0

Edit: Just found this thread with the same issue and a screenshot https://forum.unity3d.com/threads/editor-weird-cursor.426844/

I also have the vertically mirrored cursor. First noticed it in the 5.3 releases and that’s the way it has been ever since, but it didn’t bother me in any way

Any way i can change this? It just feels really wrong and unnatural with this mouse cursor

Try the solution from this thread: The mouse display is reverse(ubuntu 15.10)

Unfortunately does not work with in my case for example with the Adwaita theme

Works for me on KDE neon. Thank you so much!

Worked for me too. But it’s still a “workaround”

This solution worked for me in Solus 3.999 (almost Solus 4)!

This worked fine on manjaro linux with xfce
