Custom/Provider EULA question

Hi,
i have been trying to find information regarding the possibility to add a custom/provider EULA to a Unity asset. When searching for this i get all kinds of different answers, like “yes, its possible, but only for free assets” etc and in the Unity documentation the following in stated:

6.2 Licensing your Content
For the sake of consistency, all Asset Store offerings are covered by a license we have created. Please have a look at the End User License Agreement to be sure you are comfortable with it. If you are offering your content for free, you have the further option of selecting one of three free-licenses, which override the basics of our commercial license. Please do not include your own license terms in your offering.

Which states that im not to include my own license, but that there is an option to select some free licenses. From what i get this this has been asked several times over the years and the answers have differed.

So my question is, can i add my own EULA to my asset and does the asset need to be free in order to have its own EULA?

Thanks!

Isn’t this the answer to your question?
