Custom Render Passes on Instanced Terrain

Hello,

in this Post: [SOLVED] Custom Passes for Unity Terrain
it is mentioned that custom render passes are not supported for instanced Terrain.
Is this issue still present or has it already been fixed?
I’m on URP - 2020.3.23f1 and cannot see my custom depth shader pass doing anything on my Terrain even with apparently correctly modfied vertices.

Any information on this? Maybe from the Unity-Team?
