Custom vertex streams with particle trails

Hello! I was wondering if there was any way of sending the “lifetime” data into the trail shader?
Grabbing the custom vertex stream “lifetime” seems to work but only on the material of the particle itself, not the trail (both trail and particle have the same material)

Came here because I was looking for the same thing.
If you have Trails enabled AND a render mode selected that is not “None” there will be two checkboxes for Custom vertex streams, one for regular particles and one for the trails right below it.
(but fyi if you set render mode to none to only draw the trails both vertex stream lists disappear but they still work.)
