Reviewing the gameplay trailer - I really like the environment visuals. The main character is ultra simple cube - but has character with the subtle bobbing motion as he moves along.
The camera seems a bit jerky from the video. Might consider a small dampening to smooth this out.
Care to share the small air particles setup?
Very nice looking, and interesting - the particles seemed to bunch up at times on one side of the screen, and at other times fade away and fade into view. Nice touch - although I’m not sure if the bunching characteristic is a happy accident or intended.
Hi!
I like how it looks, really beautiful!
But there is a bug - look at the screenshot. I stay near the second pushable block. I press left, the block rotates left a bit, then rotates back right and pushes me, then the main person falls through the ground. Try this.
Good like with the game!
Thank you.
I was thinking to replace the camera system, I don’t really like how it behaves.
When I come back from my holiday I will be happy to share the dust particles, on Twitter I posted a screenshot of the dust particles.
The bug seems to happen with all the pushable blocks, they are not originally intended to be pushed in a not-flat surfaces. I will fix it, thank you.

Concept of the protagonist, is a half-demon girl, half cat (in the demo the sprite is a placeholder):

A 30 seconds demo for the game:
Gameplay video of the new version:
Story:
A valiant knight falls in love with a beautiful woman, a half-demon witch, and after becoming king he get married and have a child. One day a demon invades the kingdom with an army of dark demons, killing the king and queen. The child is saved, and when seh grows up she decides to avenge his parents. The girl knows how to fight with a sword like his father, and the traits of the mother, ears and tail.
In the new update has been added:
- New camera system: many complained of the camera, now it is much softened
- Improved control system: controls are more precise and the character is more pleasant to control
- Grab system: it was abandoned the wall jump, now clings on the edges, still it lacks its own animation climbing
- Combat system: first implementation of the combat system, now you can just make a basic attack, it will be implemented a combo and magic system
- Enemies have been added in the demo, a couple of enemies placeholder
- Updated level design: the level is now more dynamic and enjoyable to play
I will try to upload the PC version soon (without the graphical downgrade of the web version).

love the artstyle! though i’d add shadows, lighting to the character and other objects to blend-in better with the environment’s lights

Yes, I was thinking of the lights actually, but not the shadows, it might be a good idea. I do not know now if could be feasible to add shadows (from both code and visual side) in a 2D environment, I’ll try to think about it! Thanks for the advice!
