I’ve searched and found multiple topics on dark edges, but the problem images don’t seem to be as pronounced as mine. And I have tried all the fixes proposed in the other articles to no avail. Basically every plane (wall, ceiling, floor) in my scene gets very dark borders baked in to the lightmap. It’s like all the planes have a vignette applied. See the attached unbaked vs. baked screenshot. What am I doing wrong? Here is what I’ve tried:
- Edited mesh in blender to increase polygons and smart UV unwrap with large margins between islands.
- Turned on "Generate UV’s inside Unity.
- Set Lightmap Resolution to 120 and Padding to 12.
- Turned off all lightmap compression.
Any thoughts?
