Dark Skin unreadable in my Custom Inspectors - but I don't have pro.

Hi, author of Master Audio and Core GameKit here. One of our users informed me that in Unity 2019.3 beta, the Dark Skin inspector is actually unreadable due to color and skin changes. The image he sent me is below.

I’ve actually spent about 5 hours getting everything to look good in 2019.3 with the light skin, but he says it still is looking like below - to my frustration. We really, really do not want to pay $1500 for a year subscription just to fix this issue - that’s about 2 months income from the Asset Store, and we need nothing from pro except the dark skin. I tried a hack that gives me the dark skin for “free” and saw no issues at all, but I’m still paranoid.

Is there a way to solve this issue shy of shelling out a huge amount of money? Pretty upset about this.

Thanks,
-Brian

Subscribing to see if there’s an answer…

Not the answer you want I think, but a Plus subscription is just $300 a year and you can use the dark skin there too.

Well that’s an improvement. Thanks.

Unity staff recently replied to various “Give us dark theme for free!!” messages with:

I don’t any particular issues with the screen you presented to be honest.

Recently I saw a new talk on Editor UI Refresh and the girl told us to keep feedback flowing.

So, to keep the feedback, we need Unity Dark Theme for the personal license :^)

There is label text on all those checkboxes, and a lot of other text that can hardly be seen or read.
