Anyone staying out in the cheaper part of the Bay area hotel-wise (Oakland) during Unite?
I’ll have a rental car there and able to drive across the Bay Bridge (entering via the HOV lanes with 2+ occupants) and take anyone in each day they’d like.
I’m trying to subsidize the cost of the rental if possible.

I fly in Tuesday early morning and out Saturday afternoon.

Given that Charles offered me an excellent Texas beer recommendation last week (Shiner Bock, yum!) I’ll go ahead and say you might trust his bar recommendations.
Davey: hit me up a bit closer to the event (or now if you’d like) and I’ll help you with some solid directions to/from the conference location. Of course if you don’ find ride buddies and want to take BART (train) that’s an option, it just stops running from SF to Oaktown around midnight so that might limit any late night social events. Either way let me know and I’ll help advise on travel if necessary.
