DAZ 3D Content in Games

DAZ 3D has frequently been contacted by game developers looking to use DAZ 3D assets in their games and virtual worlds. Current licensing (EULA) limits the use of DAZ 3D content. An examination of the issues surrounding this topic including licensing and compatibility raises a number of additional questions. DAZ 3D would like to solicit input from those who are actually in game development.

Daz Links looks interesting. I would be interested to know what the typical poly count is for a character once reduced.

I also took the survey, and if you’re looking to attract smaller studios / indy developers you’ll probably need to delete a zero or two from some of the dollar amounts. Keep in mind you’ll be competing with models that sell for maybe $50 to $200 each with unlimited use licenses.
