DDS Texture Problem

Ok, fellow Unity-ers, I’ve got myself in a bit of a tight spot and I don’t seem to understand what’s going on.

I’ve got some DDS textures which don’t light up quite as they should. For instance:

My (best) guess so far is that the normal maps (also DDS) get kind of haywire.

Any thoughts?

Did you set the DDS normalmaps to be normal map compressed (also externally, which would be DXT5_NM)

Hm, strange. I didn’t know DXT5_NM used grayscale for normal maps.
