Trailer:

Trailer version 2:

Fight your way through a sprawling 3D, zombie-infested city as four survivors attempt to stop an outbreak of the living dead.

The creation of an antidote depends on the group delivering a sample of the deadly virus to a hospital on the other side of the city. But as the foursome’s grim fight for survival continues, it becomes apparent that there’s more to the virus than anyone realized. As the group is systematically hunted by the ravenous living dead, they soon discover that these cannibalistic monsters aren’t as mindless as they look.

Dead Strike is the action-packed horror survival game the iPhone has been waiting for, with a powerful, twisted storyline, a brutal arsenal of weaponry, stunning graphics and more zombies than a BBQ at George Romero’s graveside.

With a four player co-operative and survival multiplayer mode coming soon in a free update, fans of Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor, Resident Evil and Silent Hill will devour Dead Strike, brains first!

FEATURES:

Again, tanks to Unity guys and Unity Users!

Regards,

Looks very cool for an iPhone game. Being the Silent Hill fan that I am I love the gry foggy streets, already.

The fire looks weak, though. Maybe try getting some texture in it (if possible) instead of colored smoke. Max Payne did a great job with simple yet cool looking flames, IMO.

Tanks for the feedback, we are trying to get a better looking fire right now.
Il post some pics later when finished. Seed if people likes the new fire

BTW: Did you saw the gameplay video?
What about the fire on the gameplay video? Its the last version of our FLamethrower fire that we have.

WOW! This looks FANTASTIC!!!

If you need a tester, I have a 2nd gen touch I would be happy to blast some zombies for ya!

The video took wayyy too long to load, sadly. You might wanna try a little higher compression or something.

Anyhoo, good luck with the game and I hope I get to play it soon - really does look like a LOT of fun!

OH - you’re in Montreal!?? Cool! More Canada-based Unity devs

We already have some internal beta testing, maybe next project, i will contact you in case of.

Soon, very soon as we gonna ship the game to App review later by the end of this month, so the demo too.
We are now making the final touches to the game and doing a lot of playtests/polishing.
If you are in US, PM me, i will provide you a free promo-code whens the games came out.

Yup Montreal Canada, the City of videogames

Added lens flare to all characters flashlights:

Wow! That’s nice!
Would you like to share how you did the ‘floating’ fog effect?

Looks great! I’m already excited after seeing those screenshots.

I cannot comment that kind of stuff before the game came out(due to some NDA restrictions), but be sure you will know it after the game hit the store. Keep in touch.

We also are pretty excited about this title.
Btw, we are hitting the App store by the end September.

Looks awesomely spooky! Great job. Good luck!

Tanks, we are trying to do our best, we hope the game sales well.

I watched the gameplay video - and I really like it so far because it … weill … looks like Silent Hill
Still the fire needs some work, IMO. Fire in games often seems like yellow-to-red fading dust particles. Your’s is not different from that. Not even in motion.

@iam69:
I’d suspect a particle system following the player around.

Final visual tweaks still in progress, the final particles effects will look a lot better.

Theres lot of stuff involved on the floating fog , i let you know once the game came out. :stuck_out_tongue:

Btw, we have an other project already running up due to end 2009.
Most of the entire game is played on an abandoned hospital, the other part is on a very small town.
There’s items to collect, puzzles to solve and quite a lot of interaction. This one is more psychological, more scarier and you don’t have any gun-shop or pharmacy to buy stuff, you have to find them out. :stuck_out_tongue:
Stay tuned for more.
Cheers.

Main menu updates!
Until next,
Cheers.

Great!!!Cool!!
