Decal projector not showing on transparent material

Hi Folks,

I’m having an issue with the decal projector not working on frosted glass. I’m fairly new to Unity, so it’s possible I’m doing something wrong…

I have created a frosted glass material and Receive Decals is switched on:

In scene, the decal projector (the red writing) shows on opaque materials, but it just goes through the glass. I’ve tried quite a few different glass materials & played with the settings, but it’s like it’s not even there (you can see the decal goes to the back of the window sill behind the glass).

Have I discovered a bug, or is there some trick to it I haven’t discovered?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I kind of need the full text to be able to appear anywhere.

Never mind…I just spotted “Affects Transparent” on the Decal Projector, but I thought I’d leave these here in case it helps somebody else!

Unfortunatly on URP such an option “Affects Transparent” is not available on the decal projector
