Decal vs Transparent Quad Performance

Hi,

Is there a performance difference between using a Decal Projector and a transparent Quad texture on URP Mobile Platforms? I couldn’t find anything on the internet or in documentation

I tested on old samsung a52 device. I disabled post proccesing and enabled decals on renderer settings. when i put 5 decals on the scene, the scene drops from 60 fps to 27 fps. When I put transparent quads, there is no change in fps but of course you can use transparent quads only on smooth surfaces.

Thank you. I will try to setup similiar test scene. I will use these on roads so curved surfaces does not really matter for me
