Dedicated server build for Linux from Silicon Mac Unity Editor fails to run

Submitted bug report #1395757:

If you build a Linux player with IL2CPP scripting backend from a Mac with the Silicon version of the Unity editor, the resulting binary will fail to run on any Linux distribution. It will print the error message "Failed to load IL2CPP" and then quit.

The same build from a Windows version of the Unity editor succeeds.

This was on Unity 2021.2.8f1.

Did you ever get a response on this? Or find a workaround?

Apparently Unity has chosen not to support building to Linux from Mac Silicon for now. Maybe they will someday. You should ask for that feature.
