Default "Imported Object" scale for fbx - how to set / adjust?

First, not talking about the Meshes “Scale Factor” - I’m talking about, further below in the Inspector window, the “Imported Object”, which has a Scale X, Y, and Z that’s greyed out:

For most of my objects, this is defaulting to 0.3937008, and when I drag them into the scene that’s the scale of the GameObject. I want it to be 1,1,1. How do I change it or set a new default?

I think this has something to do with your export settings or how your scene is setup. I use max and when I work on scenes that go into Unity, I have to make sure that under Systems/Unit Scale, I set everything up properly. So that I am using Units and that Units = 1cm or what ever the case. Check if you can change the scale of your scene within your 3D Package.
