Hello,
When I choose GameObject-> particle system I get something like this:
It ifresh Unity installation
But all tutorials show that I should get somthing like this (20 second of video):
I got the same effect in unity 3.5.6 and unity 4.0
Any idea what could get wrong?

Not seeing any pink squares. If -you’re- seeing pink squares, check the material you have attached.
If you’re talking about the shape the particles are moving in, that’s just fiddling with the numbers in the inspector there.
