Default terrain shader highlight

I want to get rid of the glossy effect that is mostly seen when looking up at mountains, it pretty much washes away all the detail from the terrain texture and creates a white highlight. I want to remove or reduce this effect but not much is working. Converting the alpha to grayscale slightly fixes the issue but doesn’t give me the desired result i want… Some other suggestions were make alpha black but that did not do anything. Seems that this issue is caused by the glossy setting for the terrain painting texture, which is at 0 right now. Is there something I can do to fix this? Or a way to edit the default terrain shader to reduce that glossy effect when looking up towards mountains?
