Default Volume Profile Asset taking effect

Hi there,

I’m unable to find a way to have a custom default volume profile take effect on the project. I have created a custom profile and am selecting it via Project Settings > HDRP Default Settings > Default Volume Profile Asset, however none of the overrides are ever applied, even in an empty scene with no volumes. Strangely, the volume profile that ships with the HDRP package does have effect, but I would like to create my own. Any ideas why a custom profile wouldn’t be applying?

Hmm, not entirely sure if this was the fix, but I was able to get it working after creating a local copy of the HDRP config package: Redirecting to latest version of com.unity.render-pipelines.high-definition

Hi, do you have any update on this? I have the same situation that custom volume profile wouldn’t take effect.

Hi got the same problem Unity3d 2020.3.3f1
My HDRP default settings are completely ignored.
They work when I use them explicitly in scene Volume.
