Delay in Validator and Livestream

We will be updating some components of our backend this week and this will likely impact developers using our Livestream and Validator features.

Starting today (5/8/2017) around 1:30PM PDT, there will be a 15 minute delay in both features. This will be remedied by tonight or early tomorrow (5/9/2017) morning.

We understand the Validator is vitally important for determining if events are sent correctly. In lieu of the Validator, it is possible to catch Analytics events via a network traffic analyzer, such as Charles Proxy or Wireshark or many others.

We apologize for the inconvenience this delay will cause. I will update this post once the updates are complete and the delay is resolved.

We have noticed a formatting issue with the Validator. We are working to resolve this. You can still see that events are being sent, but they will not give as many details as they should (e.g. the parameters of a custom event.)

We are working to resolve this issue.

Edit: This issue has been resolved. The Validator will now format custom events correctly.
All events previously sent (while this issue was occurring) will still be using the incorrect format. But all new events will be formatted correctly.

Our updates were completed and the Validator and Livestream should now be operating without any delays.
