Design Experiment: Everything goes!

Howdy folks,

Often times you hear “I could design the game better than the company!” and other like-comments from players. In this thread, let’s run a fun experiment.

Each user will propose a singular design with moderate to narrow specification (not too broad).
Example: “the game is a shooter!” would be a bad specification since it is very broad and doesn’t provide much details.
Instead saying: “the game is a first person shooter with hands visible and a crosshair” would be better. As to whether or not the player wields guns would be up to the next person.

The game itself will just be an open world MMO. Whether or not it will be or have RPG elements is up to you guys.

After a period of 1 month, we’ll tally up all the suggestions and see what we get. Lord knows it will either be the best game ever or the worst game idea ever.

I will start with the simplest design:

Player has a healthbar with 100 hp. On receiving damage, hp decreases and when 0 or less, returns 0 and the player dies.

Have fun!

Edit:
Do not criticize others or post multiple ideas. Only 1 and let’s just see how it plays out.

Player is a time traveler hunting other time travelers who have gone back in time to the dinosaurs in order to disrupt the timeline and prevent the rise of humanity, eliminating all their adversaries in the future.

The player has a robot often used by bounty hunters for finding their bounty as his companion.

The player is alive so long as the person playing is. If you die for real, you die in the game.

If you are killed by another player, you can respawn and travel back in time to just before you were killed and team up on that player with the other version of yourself. If the other player is not online they’ll be replaced with a bot.

Time travel becomes unstable the more times you do it and previous attempts bleed into your reality creating unpredictable situations.

Players can use FingerGuns™ to damage other players.

Some maze-like areas can only be navigated by becoming a ragdoll and knocking yourself around with pinball paddles that are spread around the level. In these sections any small object that you touch sticks to you and that makes you heavier and less mobile.

You can fly, but only if you really believe
