Designing UI for VR

Hi. I am a Motion Graphics designer coming from a 3D background ( Cinema 4D ), and I want to start learning Unity. I am interested in creating simple 3D such as UI to be used in VR. I am looking for the best place to get started with tutorials ideally focussing on UI. Besides UI design, if there are any tutorials on creating a well designed game such as monumental valley, that too would be along the lines of what I am interested in creating. I am just not sure where to start, so any help would be much appreciated. thanks, Ben.

I remember seeing some quality content in the MWU section (made with Unity) specifically about UI for VR. The writings were not tutorials, instead best practices, which in my opinion are far more valuable for a designer.
Couple this with the official Unity UI tutorials (and other training material) and you should be in a good spot to pursue your design goals.
