I wasn’t satisfied with the “add grass texture”, so I have made my own grass mesh with a .psd color/alpha. It looks fine when dragging directly into the scene, but when added as a detail mesh the transparency is not rendered. Is there a way I can avoid having to manually place all these grass-meshes? Thanks!

Hmm… does your detail mesh have a Transparent shader attached to it? Like Transparent > Diffuse?

Hello Caitlyn, thanks for your response. Yes, I have the proper material applied, and it does show transparency when I drag the mesh directly into the scene. It’s only when I use it as a detail mesh does it not show transparency.
In the Detail Mesh settings you need to specify “Grass” in the “Render Mode”.
