detail mesh questions...

hello.
is there a way to have detail meshes that are not GHOST? i have enabeled all collisions for the prefab (stone), but doesn’t work. i can just walk through them all the time. I really don’t want to place all the stones by hand on a 25sq km area!
and can I make them receive shadows? because stones are really big enough and look really ugly when a char walks near it and it won’t receive its shadow!
question 2: i have a grass texture and have painted the grass on the terrain. then i add a new grass texture, but then the first grass texture appears only very close to the camera, but when in wireframe mode it still draws these planes…
question 3: when i add my own detail mesh, it won’t render it with its original texture, but just places the GRASS texture on it!

you likely didn’t size the collision appropriately.

collision added through code is not expanded around the object unlike collision in the editor.

so what should I do? I’m just using a stone from terrain assets…
