Detect a Specific Animation Keyframe

Is their anyway to assign and detect a specific key frame name?

For example, I’m having an animation throw a football. I would want to assign a specific keyframe name to “Release” when it naturally feels correct. In the code I would play the animation while constantly checking to see if the keyframe being read matches “Release”. If so do something.

You can use Animation Events and call a method from any of your animation’s frame. The Animation/Animator has to be on the same object than the script you want to interact with.
