Hi,
one of my friends wanted some help on creating a game so I put on hold my stupid zombie game haha lol and started his. So his idea is a game like gangsters or mafia wars but you are the police.

Phase1: Decide on what operation you would like to do (raid, spy, investigate a scene, pay snitches etc.)

Phase2: Action, you go on and play what you have set for objectives

the goal is to put all the gangs in prison and you get points for that but if you lose a mission and you loose too many points game over.

I wanted to know what could I add so that the game would be interesting for a long while, we already planned upgrades for weapons, vehicles and stuff but I’m not sure about the lasting appeal of this.

You need to wait more than 40 minutes to bump a thread.
To answer your question: Try incorporating the game into social networks so it becomes widely adopted like Mafia or Gang Wars.

The social games i gave a try all sucked.

But i do remember Murder on the Zinderneuf, Where in the world/USA/… is Carmen Sandiego, Deadline, The Witness, The Last Express, …

Well i was thinking of adding more gameplay to it then mafia wars etc… It will have an open world, it’s gona be a bit like LA Noire, but you know cheesier of course lol.

I don’t know if Freelance police counts but this would add Sam&Max as well. :O)
