Determining when on object

So I am trying to create a extra boost jumper for my player. So I want it to detect if the player is on a cube and if so for it to jump.

How would I manage to write the code for checking if the player is on the object?

There is as many ways as you can imagine to do that, it will all depend on your code design, time you want to spend on it, your comfort zone etc.

The simplest might be to detect the collision of the player on a surface. If it’s a surface A, the player can jump at a height a, if it’s B, at height b etc.
