Just wanted to share a new tutorial that we made over on our site that helps you learn how to incorporate the input controllers that are now available for the Gear VR.
It’s a nice and informative guide to getting you started on game development utilizing those controllers alongside Unity.
I wish there were some details on how to use the controller w/o oculus. I travel a lot and using the gear vr controller with osx would be ideal since it’s a great travel-size controller. I can connect to the controller using the LightBlue app but I’d like a ‘simple’ way to use it in Unity w/o having to add 3rd party bundles. It doesn’t seem to map to the provided Unity Input UI like a mouse or game controller would.
