"Development Build" in corner of screen

I’m building for WP8, not ticking the “development build” box yet it still says “development build” in the bottom right hand corner and there’s debug info/symbols in the top right. It also shows the “Unity” splash screen despite the fact that I have pro… what’s going wrong here?

did you try compiling in release instead of debug mode?

Did you change the splash screen to a different image?

There’s no option to do so, it says “Not available for this platform” under “Splash Image”

Building in release/debug mode in VS makes no difference.

I believe you have to change the splash screen in the generated project.

Hello.

For the “Development build” to go away, you have to build it in “Master” configuration.

Okay, that’s removed the “Development Build”, but it’s still showing the debug info in the top left corner.

Can you post a screenshot, we actually don’t render any debug information in top left corner, maybe it’s yours?

The debug info was only showing when I ran from VS, if I launch the app unconnected from the phone it doesn’t show.

I believe what you saw was Windows Phone frame rate counter, which is unrelated with Unity at all.

This is correct.

Building in “Master” configuration works for my case. Thanks for this thread. I am so glad I am not alone in this matter. And yeah, the frame rate counter only appears when your phone is connected to VS.

When i try to build in Master i get,
Error Error : DEP6810 : MdilXapCompile.exe failed with error code 2001.
