Development build throws EGL unimplemented error

Hello,

I am trying to profile my application using an Unity 4.2.1f4 and an Xperia Z1.

I have selected “Development build” from the build settings however whenever the app loads onto the device all i get are “unimplemented OpenGL ES API” in libEGL and my app does not load and shows nothing but a black screen.

Can anyone suggest anything to resolve this issue?

Have you selected OpenGL ES 3.0 from Unity?

unless development build changes this setting, no it would be opengl es 2.0.
