Device Freezes / pauses for 5-10 seconds randomly

We have 2 iPhones ( 3G and 3Gs ) that both “pause” or “freeze” for 5-10 seconds at random times.

We can’t seem to pin point anything other than if we turn on airport mode, it doesn’t freeze. We’ve tried disabling mail, wifi, but neither seem to be the culprit that we can see.

All other devices (1st Gen iPhone, 2nd Gen iTouch, 3G, 3Gs ) do not have this problem. So we’re fairly convinced it has to be a device to device situation.

We’re hoping someone else has experienced this issue at might be able to point us in the right direction

Thanks for any help, John

One possibility that I’ve heard of is “push notifications” causing performance issues. Can you confirm if the two devices you’re having issues with have push notifications active?

Now, if that’s the case, I don’t really think there’s much you can do about it. I would report it as a bug to the Unity guys though, just in case there’s something they can do about it.

Thanks Jerrod, we tried turning push off as well and that didn’t help.

We also tried turning off BlueTooth by itself and that didn’t fix it either
