Dialogue with a continuously growing transcript

Hello everyone!

I am brand new to Unity and thought it would be best to ask people who are already skilled and involved in the community.

I am trying to build a 2D game with a dialogue system, containing a transcript of what has been said and done. Something like this, in three steps:

The wizard stared at you in amazement. “Can you tell me how you did that?”
>“I just waved the wand and said the words.”
>“I don’t know.”

  1. Let’s say you press, “I don’t know.”

The wizard stared at you in amazement. “Can you tell me how you did that?”
“I don’t know,” you said.
“Don’t be afraid, I can keep a secret.”
>Tell him the truth.
>Lie.

And as the conversations go on, the text keeps building and growing into a big transcript, let’s say in a book/journal that the character can access.

I have installed the Pixel Crushers Dialogue System and I wonder if there is a way to combine it with this transcript somehow?
