Dimensus First Demo

Hi, this is a puzzle game I’ve been making that is like a sort of Portal or Prometheus type game called Dimensus (I might change the name). This game involves using various dimensions to solve puzzles. For example, you step through a little rift in space into another dimension, but everything in this dimension is backwards (this isn’t what happens in the demo, in the demo the alternate dimension does something else, but its an idea). I WANT TO SAY THAT THIS GAME IS IN NO WAY A RIP OFF OF KIM SWIFTS GAME THAT IS BEING MADE NOW CALLED “SHIFTING PERSPECTIVE” (i think) UNTIL TODAY I HAD NO IDEA HER OR THE GAME SHE’S MAKING EXISTED (and i started this game about 3-4 months ago, i just haven’t worked on it in a while so that’s why I’ve only made this much progress) So i’m just trying to say that i did not make this game as a rip off, it just happened that we both had extremely similar ideas.

So anyway, in the demo you need to go up to the gun looking thingy and pick it up, PRESS O TO PICK UP THE GUN.

Here is a webplayer demo of it:690024–24833–$Dimensus.zip (4.62 MB) The resolution is 800x500 (or something close to that)

Btw you shoot with the left and right mouse buttons

You should put 2-3 pictures about this into your posting above. Would be helpful for people who wants to see some footage.

BTW I probably should have mentioned this: this is only the first level. But hopefully there will be many more after this one.

So here are a few screenshots. It’s not a complex level, its just an open room with a little thing that happens once you pick up the gun.

I’m sorry but it doesn’t look very interesting. You seem to use cubes for you walls, strange…
But anyway, keep it up im sure you will get the hang of it.

Well… yea walls are generally cubes… but either way, i know this level its really supposed to be interesting, it just explains how to use the gun and movement and stuff (all of this is explained through a… loudspeaker or something like that but i need to record the audio still). And the puzzles will get harder and stuff as the game goes along
