Each time you submit an asset to be updated, is there a rule that Unity will take progressively longer to accept it with each one within a certain time frame?
I first uploaded my asset, and it took maybe 5 days to get accepted. They told me in the email that I needed to update the Readme to include contact information, so I did, and it took 2-3 days for them to accept the update.
A week later, I submitted a simple price change and description update to include a link to a video, and it took about a week to accept.
Within that week I managed to finish a large update to it, so I submitted that a day or two after the acceptance, and it’s now been well over a week and they still have not accepted it.
Basically, if I’m not mistaken, each update seems to take longer and longer to accept, and I need to know if I’ve been submitting updates more often than I should or something.
Any opinions on how often an asset should be updated?
As an asset store buyer iv noticed this as well. I understand the difficulty of asset store curation by UT, but maybe we need a better solution. Updates should be much faster. It’s a tough situation.
Sorry, we regret the delays. Our team was busy with our Unite conference in Seattle recently, and then over the Labor Day holiday weekend… the review times really just depend on the circumstances during the time of submission. apologies!
We’ve had stuff take several days, and stuff take less than a day.
It might also depend on what it is. The stuff that took less than a day (for several items at once) was all pretty simple and so probably really quick to check.
